Why won't MTW investigate the rape and other sins?
"Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush." (Jer. 6:15a)"
Curiously, MTW has a "Safeguarding" committee which is tasked with investigating "reports of possible misconduct related to unethical, discriminatory and illegal practices within the MTW community".
My appointment to be interviewed by this committee (on the 15th of November of 2023) about the rape, theft, slander, and other misdeeds committed and/or covered-up by Steve Robertson and Kenton Wood was suddenly cancelled under the pretext that the Nashville Presbytery and the local Presbytery here in Mexico have both investigated Steve's actions and have found him innocent, therefore, MTW would not be conducting any investigation.
I have emails (listed in the "Evidence" section of this site) where Nashville confirms that they turned the matter over to "MTW's jurisdiction" rather than fully conducting the investigation themselves. If Nashville now wants to claim that they did in fact investigate this matter, I would be curious to hear how that investigation had any integrity considering the fact that they did not at any time interview a single victim or their witnesses. MTW now claims that they won't investigate because Nashville already has while Nashville says that they won't investigate because MTW told them that they would.
See the game? This is purely worldly politics and has nothing to do with the glory and honor of Jesus.
Also, the claim made by the "Safeguarding" committee that Steve and Kenton were investigated here in Mexico is a lie. I have multiple witnesses who are willing to give signed or video-recorded evidence that the presbytery here (which is made up of a majority of MTW-planted churches) never made any official investigation into the matter but intentionally covered up the rape and has not even spoken to the victims much less any of their witnesses.

“Mishandling of spiritual abuse by a church and/or presbytery produces very serious repercussions for the victims, for the congregation, and for the honor of God’s name. The emotional, physical, and spiritual harm done to victims of abusive authority is further compounded when those charged with caring for God’s people fail to respond adequately to their cries for help.”
