Questions for MTW and the PCA
Will Steve Robertson acknowledge that even before he became a director at MTW that he was aware that MTW missionary Kenton Wood was falsely presenting himself as an ordained Presbyterian pastor despite the fact that he never attended seminary nor had been ordained in any Presbyterian denomination?
Will MTW recognize that any pastor in the PCA who was caught falsely presenting himself as an ordained minister would be immediately removed from their ministry?
Will MTW acknowledge that Kenton’s false pastoral credentials amount to a betrayal of trust as the confidence in and deference to Kenton by those “under his authority” due to this false title facilitated the victimization of multiple people who believed him to have been ordained under the standards of the PCA?
Will MTW acknowledge that this has been inappropriate and reprimand Kenton for this dishonest behavior? Will they insist that Kenton no longer falsely present himself as an ordained pastor or will they continue to turn a blind eye?
Will MTW also recognize that flippantly ignoring ministerial standards when it comes to dealing with Mexicans that they would have absolutely upheld when dealing with Americans is at best bad optics?
Will Steve Robertson acknowledge that he knew that fellow MTW missionary Paul Fisher had been caught being physically intimate with a woman who was not his wife and yet intentionally hid that information from the local MTW-planted church allowing Paul Fisher to remain in public ministry?
Will MTW acknowledge that this cover-up was completely inappropriate on the part of Steve Robertson, and that Paul should have been at least temporarily removed from ministry?
Will Kenton Wood and Steve Robertson both acknowledge that they knew Paul Fisher was an excommunicated serial-adulterer while Paul was both preaching and leading the music ministry on Sunday mornings at one of the missions of Kenton’s Rey de Reyes church and that this is scandalously inappropriate?
Will both Kenton and Steve acknowledge that Paul Fisher was hired to public ministry at Kenton's Rey de Reyes church after Paul publicly and dramatically threatened to kill himself in front of his family on his daughter’s birthday clearly indicating his mental/emotional instability?
Will MTW answer if they have authority or not over their missionaries like Kenton and why this situation with Paul was allowed to continue under Steve Robertson’s “leadership” as director over North and South America?
Will Kenton Wood acknowledge that his step son (who was an adult at the time) statutorily raped an underage girl who was a member of the church where he served as a missionary?
Will Steve Robertson acknowledge that the father of the girl who was statutorily raped contacted him by email as an MTW director asking for his help in this case and yet Steve ultimately chose to ignore the father and not follow-up on the rape accusations?
Will MTW acknowledge that ignoring the accusation of the rape of an underage girl by a family member of one of MTW’s missionaries is completely unacceptable behavior on the part of their director Steve Robertson (especially when the family of the girl specifically asked for his help)?
Will Steve Robertson repent of this and apologize to the girl and her family in writing?
Will Steve Robertson acknowledge that he knowingly misrepresented the facts (lied) in signed accusations that he made against me (Thomas Kunkel) on MTW letterhead in an attempt to have me put under discipline after I had brought to light multiple sins and civil crimes committed by MTW missionaries and leaders of MTW-planted churches??
If Steve Robertson chooses to deny that he knowingly lied in his testimony, can MTW provide any evidence to refute the fact that Steve intentionally slandered me as I outlined in appendix 6 on the “evidence” page of this site?
If not, will either the PCA or MTW hold Steve accountable for the intentional slander of a minister of the gospel?
Will Steve Robertson acknowledge that he intentionally used his position of authority at MTW to try to sever my family’s spiritual and financial support from our home church (New Saint Peter’s – PCA) in part based on his false accusations as I outlined in appendix 6 on the “evidence” page of this site?
Will the Committee for Judicial Business (CJB) of the Nashville Presbytery (of the PCA) finally send me the official report of their investigation into the multiple accusations against TE Steve Robertson? Will the Nashville Presbytery explain why I and the family members of the rape victim have been repeatedly denied an official report?
Will the CJB of the Nashville Presbytery explain how they came to the conclusion of TE Steve Robertson's innocence when they exclusively interviewed witnesses supporting Steve and never talked to witnesses supporting the victims?
If there was no official investigation, will then-moderator Dr. George Grant and stated clerk R. Neil Spence explain why they, along with the CJB of the Nashville Presbytery, falsely pretended to investigate a case involving the rape of a minor and the slandering of an ordained minister while doing no such thing?
Will any church or organization that has judicial standing in the PCA be willing to contact the PCA'a General Assembly, not to blindly take the side of the multiple victims in this case, but to ask for an official inquiry into the actions of Steve Robertson, Kenton Wood, MTW, and the Nashville Presbytery in the interest of transparency and the honor of Christ and His Church?
